Learning Disabilities in Young Children

According to the U.S. Department of Education, it is estimated that more than 13% of public education students aged 3 to 21 have some kind of learning disability and without recognition of the challenges those students are much less likely to succeed.

Children experiencing learning disabilities may be more susceptible to anxiety and depression. Academic testing allows parents, teachers, students, and counselors to better understand the child’s strengths and weaknesses, giving them the opportunity to move forward.
